Line & Raphaël are a Paris-based design duo specialising in furniture that seamlessly
blends traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. Line, a designer passionate about
digital techniques such as 3D printing, and Raphaël, a craftsman with deep expertise in woodworking, collaborate to push the boundaries of furniture design.
 
Their artistic approach treats each piece like a canvas, with a strong focus on graphic details and high-quality materials.
 
Designers chose to reinterpret their 3D "petal" motif, already featured in other designs. Conceived as a canvas, the armchair's graphic pattern flows seamlessly across its sides and back.
By Integrating walnut wood with gold-toned 3D-printed inlays, the designers achieve a unique blend of textures and materials.
 
The armchair combines walnut wood and with gold-toned 3D-printed elements, carefully embedded through digital milling. 
 
Upholstered in off-white boucle fabric, it adds comfort and modernity. 
The entire piece embodies their approach of merging traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technologies, creating a functional and aesthetically refined work of art.
